2021 in books

My reading goal for 2021 was 50 books.

I was on strike up until October when I got sidetracked late into my pregnancy by trying to finalize work before my upcoming maternity leave. Nonetheless, I managed to read 35 books this year which is way more than in any previous year. I’ve read most of it in English but a few in Russian. To be fair though, I actually listened to many of the books.

As far as the genre, this was definitely a year of sci-fi journey for me. Most notably, I completed the 3 series of Asimov’s books: The Robot novels, Galactic Empire series, and, of course, The Foundation. I really enjoyed all of them and looking forward to reading more of Asimov in the future.

I’ve also read several work-related books. I am hoping to get into the habit of reading more of them. The rest of the books were a good mix of fiction and non-fiction reading.

This post is a list of those books for me to keep track of.
